Tyra Tingleff is a Norwegian painter known for her distinct use of colour and a strongly abstract and unique loose effect. This limited series of drawings on paper is inspired by the technique of marbling, with references ranging from ancient text binding techniques to architectural decorations. Tingleff here uses a concentrate mixed with Wodka as a solvent, referring in a broad sense to the inebriating potential of different substances, alluding to a focused and entirely personal inner journey, the clues to which are only given to us by her strongly evocative titles.
