These crows are part of a series of works, which originated in David Horvitz’s garden in Los Angeles, a self-managed space that has been hosting artists, poets, friends, and passers-by visitors for several years to participate in events, performances, exhibitions, and spontaneous gatherings.
The garden is, of course, also the home of the crows.
The crows that co-inhabit the environment of the Los Angeles garden have become the living muses of this series of paintings on recycled cardboard, a medium that brings the international trade of goods and their journeys to the forefront.
Both artists have painted the crows; some are portrayed individually, and some collaboratively.
These works can be shipped to you directly as they are via mail or picked up directly in Berlin.
