Yatika al-Khair Quli: What happened?
-A little girl walked like a flower…
Under the gaze of death, she walks in secret.
-She carries a bowl full of warm hope…
-In the embrace of bread from the house of generosity.
-She did not know that the path was a trap…
And that the horizon pulsed with calamity.
– That bombardment would fall like punishment…
Burning the little heart without hope.
– The soup spilled and blood flowed like fire…
And the martyr’s dress was exposed to the air.
– A little girl walking like a flower…
And she disappeared… Nothing remained of her but prayers.
-O house of goodness, tell me: what happened?
What sin caused this silent punishment?
-Which little girl is being washed today with tears…
Yesterday she sang to the sky?
-She is gone, but she left a fire in our souls…
And our desire for martyrs grew within us.
