Ameera Al-Hamayda earned her bachelor’s degree in arts education from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Al-Aqsa University in 2023. She works in different mediums, especially painting and sculpture, often in combination. She explores free and spontaneous expression in her work, incorporating elements of surrealism in portraits and depictions of anatomy influenced by her further interests in science and nature. Ameera Al-Hamayda is currently developing a new project From Tent to Transformative Architecture supported by the Abdul Mohsen Qattan Foundation. Aya Juha graduated with a degree in English translation in 2013. She worked as an English language teacher for almost two years before deciding to pursue painting in 2014. She developed her visual language through research on social media, and further honed her skills through workshops, by connecting with other artists, and participating in numerous group exhibitions. Since 2015, she has led courses in still life and figure drawing.
