Mohammed Alhaj earned his Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Al-Aqsa University in Gaza City in 2004. His work spans a variety of artistic styles, positioning his practice within the contemporary art of Gaza. He has exhibited his work in various exhibitions and art festivals both within Palestine and abroad at Art Collective for Peace, Amsterdam (2025) and The P.A.P.A Art Foundation, Ohio (2025). Most notably, he took part alongside 19 other Palestinian artists in the first Palestinian Pavilion at the 59th Venice International Biennale in 2022. His figure Abu Al-Kuffiyeh traveled with the Gaza Biennale through France, London, Geneve, Istanbul, Sarajevo, and Padua (2025).
